This is such a profound reflection on a brief, everyday moment. The distinction you make between shaming fear and covertly worshiping it is so accurate—both trap us in place. It really changes the game when we realize that building momentum isn't about eliminating fear entirely, but changing our relationship to it.
fear can take a seat,
give it snacks but not the wheel—
courage flies the plane.
